Our girl Jestilia Hallak, sends from Italy a message in the name of the children of Syria

On the eve of the glorious holidays, as all the Christians of the world prepare to celebrate them, the Latin Church of Aleppo launched an initiative to draw attention to the city of Aleppo and its children, to all the children of Syria and the suffering they experienced during the eight years of the war and to the pain that is in the heart of all the inhabitants of Syria .
This was, in reality, the initiative of the Franciscan friars in Italy to support the Franciscan mission and the Christian mission in Aleppo, and at the same time to give importance to all the children of Aleppo and to draw attention to the difficult circumstances of the people living in this troubled city.
We are honored at the Church of Aleppo, the Latin parish, to work diligently through many initiatives such as this one to draw the attention of the world to our city Aleppo, which is still suffering from pain and poverty and the children of Aleppo are the first sacrifice; Jestilia Hallak was chosen form the children of the Christian education and the children’s choir to participate in Zecchino D’oro this year to carry a message of peace in the name of the children of Aleppo to the world. This child was sent with her mother accompanied by a responsible in the Christian education in the church Mrs. Rola Mstrih to the city of Bologna in Italy to sing in the theater Zecchino D’oro a children’s song in cooperation with the Italian TV channel Rai Uno.
The invitation was a call for peace launched by the Church by the girl Jestelia, in which she called on the world to pay attention to peace so that none of the children of the world will experience the experiences of the children of Aleppo and the children of Syria in these eight years full of pain, bitterness, and grief.
We are proud of our daughter Jestilia, as we are proud of every child of the Church, not only our children but we are proud every child of the country who has endured the pain with courage beyond imagination.
We pray that the specter of war and the specter of discord will break away from our beloved country so that everyone no matter their age enjoys this great gift, the gift of peace.
We thank our Franciscan friars and everyone who cooperated from the Italian Channel Rai1 in communicating our voice to the world.
