The first Mass for peace of 2019 in the Sunday catechism center

On the first Sunday of January was this year’s first mass, we prayed for peace all over the world and especially in Syria. We celebrated the visit of the mages to the holy child, and in a sketch, our children replayed this holy visit during the Mass, sharing with the mages their journey to the crib holding:

The gold which expresses our loyalty and our pride in our Lord who is the king of our hearts and lives.
The frankincense that was given to the newborn king, we kneel in front of his holiness and we pray for him to always stay present in our lives.
The myrrh to Jesus the human, expressing humility and acceptance of the other in our life no matter how different he is.
we prayed for the peace in our hearts, in our beloved city Aleppo, a peace that shows us the way to the stability and development.
We especially prayed for the kids of Ireland, sending our love and prayers especially during these hard times that they are living in their country.
