Pantecost in our church and the opening of the summer oratory (with you .. i discover)

Our Church celebrated Pentecost, the Feast of the Holy Spirit: On Sunday 9th of June 2019, The Holy Mass began with beautiful hymns of chorus children`s. In his Homily Father Ibrahim spoke about the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of Christians: We come to the conclusion of Eastern march, through it we renewed our journey with Jesus. This journey will never stop and will never have a rest … the Holy Spirit does not cease his work because he always wants us to grow in faith and transcend our humanity and our spiritual life. The Holy Spirit exists and effects in all prayers as well as in all sacraments of the Church, but the believer receives Him particularly in the touch of the confirmation. The power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us makes us understand the word of God and do what God wants us to do. All acts of love, service, and sacrifice cannot be done by ourselves, but by the work of the Holy Spirit through us. We Christians can stand up in front of the whole world and we can change the world, as did twelve apostles two thousand years ago. Let’s open our hearts and surrender our lives to the work of the Holy Spirit to renew us and fill us with His gifts, which enable us to be witness and apostles to Jesus Christ Today we will start a new season of our summer club: “With you I discover” which will last for two months. Within this period, the educators and the participants will enjoy the adventure of discovery … discover themselves, their city and society and discover their talents. We offer special prayers and many thanks to those who think about us from distance and work hard to support us spiritually and financially so we can give our children all they need to make their vacation an active and joyful one. After the Mass, everyone went to the courtyard of the convent where summer club was opened with children’s songs and dances. Father Ibrahim flew doves as a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s presence.
