Our church celebrated the feast of Jesus offered to the temple (2nd February 2020)

Forty days after our happy celebration of the birth of Lord Jesus, we celebrated the offering by Joseph and Mary of Jesus in the temple, according to the requirements of the law. For the first time, he was among his believers and gave glory to blessed Simon and the holy woman Anna who saw the salvation of the lord. Our Mass was like a childhood Mass, a Mass of the future of the church; all families with children from forty days to two years old were invited to participate and offer their children to the lord, similar to the Holy family. The presence of children gave an atmosphere of spontaneity, joy and harmonious music from the sounds that children always make from time to time. The Mass began with the blessing of the candles. The lit candle in the hands of each believer signifies how they are blessed by its light, and carries the light to others to bear witness to the eternal light.
