Ceremony of the First Holy Communion in our parish

One of the most beautiful and joyful events in our church was the First Holy Communion. Fourteen children from our parish received Jesus for the first time. They expressed their great joy saying: We felt in heaven welcoming the Lord Jesus to our heart, uniting with His Body and Blood.
We sharing the joy of children together with their parents and all the people whom this ceremony gathered in our parish church.
The liturgy was chaired by Fr. Ibrahim Alsabagh and co-celebrated with Fr. Yosef. Our children’s choir embellished the liturgy with beautiful songs. The ceremony ended with a souvenir photo and a refreshment for children and parents in the convent’s garden. Of course, there were many beautiful wishes and joys from the first meeting with Christ in Holy Communion.
Congratulations to parents and children who for the first time received the Lord Jesus into their hearts and we wish them many graces and a gift of faithfulness to Jesus every day.
