The birth event, an event that is renewed every year in our life, is the incarnation of the Son and his birth from the Virgin Mary… The son who fulfilled prophecies “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots” It is the hope that emerged from the descendants of David to extend salvation to all mankind. It is like a burnt olive branch in our country exhausted with grief. Olives that grow again will turn into life.
Today in our catechism, children loved to form a crib of nativity from their bodies conjoined with olive branches, to receive the divine child in it. With Mary and St. Joseph, who went to a cold, poor crib of nativity to give birth to her son… Mary with all her obedience and trust in God. With them we also offer our submission and surrender to your will in our lives, Lord.
Like the angels who cheered … we will sing, rejoicing
Like shepherds, we will spread the news of your birth to the joy of everyone around us.
Like a star, people will refer to you through every word and every action we do.
Christ was born … Hallelujah
