It is the holy Thursday , the heart of the great week, in which Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist and the priesthood, and in it he also washed the feet of his disciples to teach us humility and service with the utmost love, then washed our sins with his precious blood that was poured out for us.
At the conclusion of the Mass, the Eucharist is held, and before Him the faithful are watchful and contemplate the conflict of Jesus in the Garden of Oils.
This is how we celebrated in the Church today the holy Thursday , where Bishop George Abu Khazen presided over the mass and was attended by the Fathers Ibrahim Al-Sabbagh, Father Imad Kamel, Father Bassam Zaza and Father Samhar Ishaq, and the Salesian Fathers, Father Mario and Father Danny, and His Eminence washed the feet of 12 parishioners They choose among the newlyweds, so that the mass ends with the endurance of the Eucharist and the worship of the believers, with hours of meditation and prayer before it.
These are holy days that we live. We pray that the Lord will grant us his grace and forgive us, so that we may reach with him to the joy of the Resurrection.
