“Come follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

////“Come follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

“Come follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

Today, Jesus invites the fishermen’s he met to follow him and calls them to be fishers of men …

Jesus is the one who sought them, called them, and hunted them … and they heard him and answered his call … detached from everything

Today … we are all immersed in many seas, distant seas that pull us away from your love ..

We offer ourselves to you and pray that our eyes will open so that we see you every day with our lives so that we will be with you in your fishing nets.

So that we turn like disciples into human hunters, to be a torch of light in our society … and the word of love in our families … as you have commanded us …

With bread and wine … we offer you this great longing to meet you every day … in the Mystery of the Eucharist
